Notes
John Sevier Wilson and his wife, Dicy Hatchett Wilson, and family moved from Tennessee and settled in Searcy County Arkansas around 1855. He was a farmer, teacher and County Judge from 1856 to 1862. He died in 1865 and was buried on the family farm near Leslie. The exact location was unknown to his descendants for many years. In 2000 the grave site was found, and descendants of John Wilson, with the help of local people, restored it with a chain link fence and new marker.
